Tools: three calculators built from Tomebuy's own worked examples
How to use this site's calculators: each one replays a number Tomebuy itself published, rather than inventing a rate. None of them is a live quote.
What these numbers are actually built from
Choose the calculator for the question you have. The landed-cost adder uses a fixed historical dollar tariff; the consolidation calculator uses a different historical yuan example; neither is a selectable live route. The storage checker displays the conflicting published periods together. Keep currency, purpose and source assumptions separate when reading their results.
None of the three borrows a rate from anywhere else. Where Tomebuy's own interface returns figures that look like stand-in data, this page leaves that route blank rather than filling it in with a guess; see Fees for what that looks like and why.
Landed-cost adder
This replays the Packaging page’s dollar example: $30 for the first 500 g, $10 for each additional 500 g or part, and $1 handling. For a hypothetical $45 item in a 900 g parcel, it gives $86: $45 + $30 + $10 + $1. That illustrates the step charge; it excludes other costs and cannot quote today’s route. Check the fee layers before budgeting.

Storage-clock checker
Tomebuy's own pages give three different lengths for free storage. Enter the date your order status changed to “in storage” and this tool works out all three deadlines at once, so you do not have to guess which page applies to you. If you would rather extend storage than race any of the three deadlines, that option and its price are on Storage and returns.

A calculator for combining parcels
Replays the EMS-to-the-US example from Tomebuy's Distribution help article: first 500g costs ¥160, each additional 500g costs ¥55, plus a flat ¥4 handling fee per parcel. Enter two or three item weights to compare sending them apart versus combined into one parcel.

Why only three
A fourth tool, a QC-photo-angle picker, was considered and dropped: Tomebuy does not publish a price for extra angles, so any output would have been a guess dressed up as a calculation. The same reasoning applies to a duty estimator for the country list on Shipping: the thresholds themselves come with Tomebuy's own caveat that they are not a guarantee, and turning them into a yes-or-no tool would overstate how reliable that list actually is. Three calculators, each tied to a number Tomebuy itself published and stands behind, is the line this edition draws.
